Leaving Lubbock

Soon, we shall be venturing forth into the world-outside-Texas in order to pursue our fortunes.  We can't say we'll miss Lubbock but we will miss some of the people here a great deal.  We will think of y'all when we're someplace with trees and mountains and seasons.

23 July, 2004:  Well, we're safely ensconsed in the Atlanta Area. Read about the move!

29 February, 2004:  Jenn has accepted a position as Assistant Professor at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.  This means we'll be Georgia Peaches soon.  I guess it's more accurate to say that I'll be a Georgia Peach again, having lived down there in '96 during my co-op.

Do you need a Traffic Engineer?  Hire me!  I'm available within six weeks of date of hire.

24 November 2003:  Leaving our neighborhood, at the very least, will be easy.

Ah, life on our block.  Body count since we moved in:  Four.  If you count since the first murder we're aware of, it'll be about six more months until the next murder or gun-related death.  The latest incident was a murder-suicide (possible rape).

Jenn asked me yesterday, "If we weren't leaving in the next six months, would we be leaving now?"  Yes, indeed.
